What are Learning Strategies? A learning strategy is personal, it is a person’s own method of completing an assignment. A learning strategy is an aide to help a student organize information in order to learn more effectively. Teachers have also begun working on being able to teach more effectively. Teachers employ a variety of teaching strategies to aid students in grasping the information they want students to learn. A teacher will use a variety of strategies in order to address different types of learners. Likewise students can adopt many strategies to assist them in remembering and recalling information. Teachers will often share and teach learning strategies to their students. All students can benefit by utilizing these strategies but it is especially important for those students who struggle with learning.
